Sukkot is the festival where we remember G_d’s kindness and reaffirm our trust in HIM. For 7 days the Sukkah becomes our home. It’s a very joyous time for the Jewish people. There are many street parties – known as simchat beit hashoava, the streets are filled with song and dance . During the week of Sukkot we say the blessing over the Lulav and Etrog – the palm frond and the Citron.
