1) Palestinian Islamists have yet again launched a rocket from the Gaza Strip toward Israel’s southern communities – prompting an Israeli retaliatory bombardment against Hamas targets in the coastal enclave.

2) The Turkish Foreign Ministry has denied a report by the British Daily Telegraph, in which the paper disclosed that Turkey allowed members of the Islamist Hamas organization to plan and execute terror attacks from its territory against the state of Israel.

3) Lebanese President Michel Aoun announced his decision to appoint Former Minister Hassan Diab – a Hezbollah-backed nominee – as the Beirut’s Prime Minister designate.
